Dream Big under the Royal Star of Antares
There’s something to be said for being noticeable and notable. Like the other three royal stars in astrology, Antares once gave us a way to note the change of seasons.
Formerly known as Satevis, it is one of the brightest stars in our sky. It is the signature star of the Libra season, now known as the Alpha star of Scorpio.
A sign of intuition and wariness, this star can be suspicious in nature and possibly border on paranoia, yet it indicates a great strength of being as it holds both powers of good and evil.
Designating the Autumnal Equinox by Antares, the days and nights are of equal length, but longer nights and shorter days are on the way. Take advantage of them and regenerate the power of your dreams.
Enjoy some seasonally appropriate rest and replenish your ideas. Creativity and intention will blossom vibrantly. Dreams can deliver more wisdom than you can find in books because it is in dreams where we find the wisdom from our own in-depth knowledge and consciousness.
We may know specifically where we are in terms of our own lives, but we do not always know where we are, in the grand scheme of being.
Make a Dream Pillow
A dream pillow is a fun way to invite epic dreams. it can be a small muslin or organza bag with a ribbon drawstring. You can even just place them in a meaningful handkerchief or square of cloth and tie it with a ribbon. Fill this bag, or dream pillow with mugwort for dreaming and add flowers and herbs such as roses, lavender, chamomile, and hops for scent and relaxation and tuck it into your pillowcase. Tie a ribbon around your Loa voodoo doll and pin it to your pillow too!
There are many ways to create your own dream pillow, just do it with some mindfulness. Speak your intentions out loud and infuse it with positive wishes for your dream state.
